Focus on the Family Action

Dr. Dobson has a separate news letter to keep us up to date about political issues and he aggressively pursues ways to keep us informed of how the consequences can affect our families. This one deals with the California ruling on same sex marriages and what it could open the door to. He is also keeping people aware of how the Congressmen and Senators of each state have voted on many issues. I asked if I could share parts of it with you, but they said that I would have to use the entire newsletter. You know that I can’t do that, so I’m giving you their Email address. We need to be informed of the underlying issues that will affect our lives and the lives of our children. They need our financial support for they can’t get all the information out to each state without it. It is up to us to help all those that are doing everything to bring our country back to its Christian heritise. If we don’t, we will be held accountable for the outcome of the 2008 election.

Many are praying for a dark horse candidate to run for president as a third party. There is one. It is Chuck Baldwin. Some say that they are afraid that if we vote for him it will help the wrong person get in office. But I say that we need to have faith and vote for the dark horse. You may be the one to keep him out office if you don’t. As I said in last month’s newsletter that the Lord said that we needed to vote for God’s commandments. But it didn’t mean that we would win. And then He said that we would be the remnant as His chosen people were, and how He remembered them and restored the land. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Have faith and bombard the heavens with our prayers; asking for forgiveness and to turn our country back to Him.

Prayer Meetings

You are invited to attend prayer meetings on Tuesday nights to pray for the Israelites and the building of a prayer tower, according to Daniel Bolher’s 2005 Prophecy, so that the Great Lakes will not erupt. The prayer meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, at Greentree Apartments, 4320 Kalamazoo Ave. #224. For more information call 616.455.4784.

This newsletter is disjointed and seems to touch on unrelated subjects, but in the end it will make sense and will tell us how and why we must vote His perfect will.

Angels

Several years ago I became aware that angels were all men. There were not any female angels. I searched the scriptures, hoping to prove me wrong. I loved angels and had them everywhere as knickknacks, hanging on the wall, and on my apartment door. I had them hanging on my Christmas tree. The one I loved the most I got at a dime store. It was the sweetest little girl and I put her on the top of my tree. The tree was loaded with them. I had a little boy and girl kissing. Some of them lighted up. I had a wonderful one made out of a Readers Digest book. Remember when they were all the rage? I never saw one as beautiful as this one made by my husband’s aunt, that I was given. It was a true treasure. My research proved that there were no female angles. The Lord told me to write about them and I did. It was upsetting to some of the recipients of the Newsletter and they no longer wanted it. I wonder if that will happen this time. As you know that what the Lord tells me to write. I write. Years ago He spoke to me in an audible voice and I was not obedient and I’m still living with the consequences of it. I can’t believe that I did that. But, rest assured that I will never do it again.

Some see angels on a regular base. I’m not one of them, but I have seen Jesus many times. I’m going to tell you of some things I’ve heard throughout the years. They may not be exactly as they happened, but they did happen.

There was a car load of people In a country that had bad roads. They came to a place where they couldn’t get over or around a hole of some sort. A jeep appeared, seemingly out of no where, and several men got out and lifted their vehicle over the hole and set it down, and then drove off. The grateful people went into a small village and asked where they could find their benefactors so they could thank them. They were told that no one came into their town.

A rapist who had raped and killed several women and had not been apprehended yet, was following a young woman and caught up with her and went right on by her. Later she had an opportunity to speak to him and asked why he didn’t rape her. He said because of the man that was walking with her. She had no idea someone was walking with her.

When I was a teenager I worked in a small restaurant on upper Monroe Avenue. I walked home because I lived close by on Jefferson, between State St and Cherry, Cars would drive up along side me and I was afraid. Each time another car would pull up behind the car and follow it until it drove off. It happened to often to be to be a coincident. I now believe that in all likelihood they were angels protecting me.

Paul and Jan Crouch of TBN told on their program that Jan was woke up in the night and had a vision of a man they knew who carried a cross throughout the world. In her vision she saw four men in uniforms with rifles pointed at him, ready to shoot him. She woke Paul up and told him they needed to pray for protection over him. Later the man, who carried the cross told them that at that very same time he was prepared to die and wondered what they were waiting for. He opened his eyes and saw the soldiers running away. It seems that there were angels standing there protecting him.

We need to accept God’s truths and get it straight. It does matter. Many Christians have come to believe that because God is love and loves all people that we need to apply it to all people. And whatever people do is alright with God. They believe it because of His unconditional love. They think He will understand the draw of a woman to another woman or a man for another man. A man or a woman finds someone else that he/she is drawn to and gets a divorce or commits adultery. Prostitution is a way of making a living until they can get another job, etc. The list goes on. It puts us on that slippery road to hell. I’ve said it before that God loves all people. But he wants us to choose to live by His commandments, precepts & statues. He gives us free will, the choice is ours.

I can see how His chosen people went down that slippery path until He cast them out. He destroyed many by using other nations, pestilence, disease, storms, etc. to accomplish His goal of destroying the land. The Jews were banished for hundreds of years. We are seeing the beginning of the fulfillment of prophecy in our life time. They are coming in droves back to Israel. The barren land is now lush and fertile; with flowers, fruit trees, and every kind of vegetable. They say it is beautiful. What a wonderful time we alive.

Look at our country; we as a nation are like sin city. We are on the slippery slope to destruction. We Christians are the ones that need to stand up and speak the truth of God’s Word that he gave us in the very beginning. We cannot change it to suit the times. As I prayed about this the Lord gave me this message. Jesus died so that we who are sinners may accept His gift of life and to be willing to lay down our lives to fight the bitter war, to bring our country back to being a Christian nation. I said that I believe the civil war will be far worse than the war to free the slaves, because of those who want to legitimize their sinful life styles and will fight to the death. Who wins this war will decide if our nation will be restored or destroyed as Sodom and Gomorra was.

In the last newsletter I said our voting for God’s principles may not mean that we will win the election, but we will be like the remnant that Isaiah talked about in Isaiah 1:9 Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been like unto Sodom and we should have been like unto Gonorrhea.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of the least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom if heaven.

Matthew 5:18-19

If you haven’t asked the Lord to be ruler over your life why not do it now. You will never be the same. If you have backslidden He is always willing to restore you. Accept Jesus and the Holy God who created this wonderful place for us to live. Just look out your window and see the wonder of it all.

Say this prayer

Dear Lord I am a sinner

I don’t want to live this way any more

I ask you to forgive my sins (list them out loud)

I want you to be the ruler of my life

To live in my heart forever

To guide me in all righteousness

I thank you for coming into my heart

Please fill me with the Holy Spirit

And give me the gift of tongues, Amen

Read the Bible every day. Start with the Book of John. Read the Psalms and The Book of Proverbs. Find a church that will not compromise God’s Word. Upon arising in the morning ask God to guard your mouth that you will only speak and do what He leads you to do.

You must ask to speak in tongues in order to receive this gift. It is a way of praying the perfect will of God for the situation. Satan cannot understand what you are saying so he can’t try to stop your prayer from being fulfilled. You can ask the Spirit to reveal the prayer to you. He sometimes gives someone the gift of tongues without them asking for he has a special purpose for them to fulfill.

American Center for Law & Justice

The Supreme Court of the United States has agreed with ACLJ’s request that it rule in a Ten Commandments case of great significance. This attack is about allowing private parties to have a First Amendment right to put up monuments of their choosing, unless the city takes away all other donated monuments, including the Ten Commandments:

  • A patriotic monument in a city park could have an anti-American monument also.

  • “In God We Trust” might have one that says “In Satan We Trust” next to it.

  • Next to the Statue of Liberty, a Statue of Tyranny.

You get the picture. We say this won’t happen, but we are seeing many things that are happening today that we never in our wildest dreams thought would come to pass.

Some Things We Need to be Aware Of

Pray for Israel and all those involved in the war in the Middle East. Make sure your church is upholding them in prayer, not just in passing, but holding prayer meetings just to stand in prayer for them.
